Welcome to Hiawassee, a charming town nestled in the North Georgia Mountains. Our river front property offers an idyllic, tranquil setting. Outdoor lovers will delight in the waterfront location and many recreational activities available in the area, including kayaking, tubing, and fishing right in the backyard.
Being on the water, and only 16.5 miles from Helen, the best of North Georgia is at your doorstep. This Bavarian Alps themed town of Helen, Georgia is set in the Appalachian mountains near many wineries, the Appalachian trail and fun for the whole family. Experience all this area has to offer, from hiking trails within minutes, to waterparks, tubing (winter and summer), zip lines and ropes courses, horseback riding, picturesque downtowns, wineries, mini-golf, gold/gem mining, breweries and more! Come during late September through the end of October to experience Oktoberfest, one of the longest running in the country, and the changing of the leaves in early fall!
The local wedding venue is only about 2 miles away, making our place a perfect stay for attendees. You can also venture out to explore the quaint town center filled with restaurants, shops, and local attractions.

Erinโs place was super cute! We enjoyed our stay! We were lucky enough to have the shared areas to ourselves. I think it would have been a little uncomfortable for our couple retreat if the other place had been rented. The hot tubs for both units are side by side. It was so nice that she had the hot tub turned on and heated by the time we got there. The fire pit is super nice, riverside, and well lit. The grill was a nice added touch as was the countertop ice machine! It rained on and off the whole weekend so we did not get a chance to use the kayaks provided, but it is a nice addition to the rental. Overall a great stay!

Place was just like described. Right about the garage is the studio. It was clean and felt very home like. Decorated very cute. The shower was so perfect. Very clean as well. All the people talking about lady bugs have never lived in the country. ITS NORMAL. Had a book of nearby places to explore/ eat at. And kayaks available to use. Hot tub was great, perfect after a long day. You gotta look at Helen and definitely zip line at Nacoochee Adventures. Even go to the top of Bell Mountain for a sunset/rise. Maybe even get proposed to if youโre as lucky as I am๐.

The host was very responsive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The location was convenient and close to everything I needed, which made the trip even better. I truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We stayed at this property in Helen, GA over Christmas with family and overall had a lovely time. The home is spacious and well laid out, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house, plus a separate studio apartment that includes a bed, bathroom, and kitchenette, which was a great bonus for added privacy. There were several things we really enjoyed: โข Having two hot tubs was a huge plus โข Wood already cut and available for bonfires was very convenient โข The outdoor string lights over the bonfire area were charming and festive โข Keyless entry locks made check-in and coming and going very easy That said, there are a few areas that could use attention. The studio apartment had bugs visible on the ceiling and dead bugs in the window seals, and the main house had spider webs throughout, which made the space feel like it hadnโt been recently detailed. The outdoor games were very dusty and would benefit from being cleaned between guest stays.
